Sigma Chi’s International Balfour Award finalist Anthony Karahalios
The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life would like to congratulate Anthony Karahalios for being named a finalist for the 2017 International Balfour Award.
Awarded annually since the 1929 to 1930 academic year, the IBA recipient is honored for his achievements in scholastics, as well as his campus, community and Sigma Chi involvement.
Karahalios served as his chapter’s philanthropy chairman and Quaestor. He was on the dean’s list during each semester of his undergraduate career, served as president of the Johns Hopkins Applied Mathematics and Statistics club and was the founding president of the Actuarial Club. He received his undergraduate degree in applied mathematics and statistics in May 2017, graduating with a 3.99 GPA.
