Assistant Director, Programming and Traditions

Ju’Quay joined the Hopkins community in January of 2022 as a Program Specialist for the LEED Office. In her role, Ju’Quay directly advises the HOP campus programming board and assists with planning Johns Hopkins’s large-scale traditional events. Ju’Quay is passionate about providing students the resources needed to foster a sense of belonging, achieve their professional and personal goals, and create an outstanding student experience.

Prior to joining Hopkins, Ju’Quay Collyear was the Center Director of Mathnasium of Columbus East, a nonprofit tutoring center in Columbus, OH, that focused on college access and exposure for K-12 public school students. Ju’Quay also worked for The Ohio State University’s Multicultural Center alongside the African & African American Intercultural Specialist to foster community and a sense of belonging amongst Black students on campus by creating spaces for dialogue and planning traditional cultural events. Ju’Quay received her B.A. from Denison University and her M.A. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from The Ohio State University.
