Gear Rentals

• Rentals are subject to availability. Due to Pre-Orientation Programming, we will not be able to fill rentals during August.
• Group Equipment Requests must be made at least two weeks prior to your anticipated pick up date.
• The Renter agrees to assume all liability, and be solely responsible for the rented equipment, its use, and its users.
• If equipment is damaged, destroyed, missing, or stolen, the Renter gives Johns Hopkins University permission to charge my student or staff account the full replacement/repair cost of the equipment rented.
• If equipment is returned late you will be charged the day rate for each day it is not returned. After one week you will be charged for the full replacement amount.
• If equipment is returned excessively dirty there will be a cleaning fee added at drop off.
• Payment for rentals is due at the time of pick up. We accept checks made out to JHU or exact cash.
• The Office of Experiential Education reserves the right to collect a deposit on rental equipment in addition to the the rental fee. Deposits will be returned once equipment is returned.

1. Submit your request by email to [email protected] with what you need a week before you need it.
2. When your rental is confirmed you will be sent an invoice to pay online with a credit card.
3. Come to Base Camp, the Experiential Education Office, to pick up your rental on Friday between 3 – 5 PM. Unless another time is agreed upon.
4. Equipment must be returned Monday 3-5 PM. Unless another time is agreed upon.
